Florence/Life Update

I only just now realized that it had been more than a year between my last two posts! Aiieeee! Well, please know I was not doing nothing during that year. I was taking care of my physical and emotional health a great deal of that time. It was a very hard and sad year for me personally. But in the spring, I started pushing myself to get back out into the auditioning world (got a callback, but no bookings), and this summer I worked with the fabulous Sara Glancy (www.saraglancy.com) to help revamp my book a bit. She really gave me a shot in the arm and I brought two new songs to audition rooms less than a week after working with her! …Then I slowed down again because LIFE HAPPENS and finances and emotional wellbeing are things that use up a lot of time. But I’m so proud of myself that I got some new songs in my book for the first time in a long time. And I uploaded some new clips to Actors Access. I’ve been doing stuff!
And, Florence the Firefly is making progress again! Woo hoo!!! A generous donor made it possible to pay my illustrator/animator more so that we could go above and beyond what we initially agreed upon, animation-wise. I’m so excited to share it with the world soon.
