Hi. I'm a goofball-nerd-treehugger-actor-singer. I was born and raised in a Southern California suburb, and attended Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theater major. I moved to Seattle to attend Cornish College of the Arts, got my BFA in theater, honed my acting craft there for a few years after graduating and got my Equity card, then decided to shake things up by moving to The Big Apple, Dream Town (jazz hands here): New York City, where I still am based today.

One of the biggest reasons that I love to act is because I love to play, and I try to bring at least a bit of play into all that I do, whether it's an acting gig or other work, like teaching Music Together classes or caring for children. I volunteer, play & work with The PlayGround Experiment frequently. Inspired by my fellow actor-writers at The PGE, I started dabbling in writing a few years ago. To read my playwriting, follow me on New Play Exchange. I recently produced an animated adaptation of my play Florence the Firefly. You can watch it on my YouTube channel.

I also strive, through stories, organization, persistence, and laughter, to empower others to make a positive change in the world! I volunteer with various progressive organizations to fight for environmental & social justice. And I try to sing and be silly every day.
